Then open the files listed below in that order and click on repair for each one, the last one doesn't have a repair window pop up, instead you will see a small loading bar, Once removed go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\redist" Go to "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2" This solution is also stickied on the front page so I will credit Duckdevil for the repost of the orignal post by Bane: (full link) The solution below WILL DELETE all of your save data unless you back up the save game files so please be aware of that before proceeding!
Sorry I didn't get back sooner! I have found a solution for crashing at startup, but I would follow The Governor's (can't believe you were able to get that name, btw) advice and be sure to check you have no hiding mods tucked away somewhere first.
